Smart Returns is concluded
Smart Returns is an European project that studied the reception models of immigrant people and assisted voluntary return policies, through exchange and comparison activities.
It was conceived in partnership between the municipality of Ealing (London), AICCRE Veneta Federation and A&I Onlus, following the experience developed in a previous project that A&I realized on the same theme.
Among the results of the project, there was the creation of a Manual of Good Practices on voluntary assisted return, including the analysis of the territorial and informative conditions - in Italy and in the United Kingdom - that encourage the decision to return home.
The analysis was carried out through the evaluation of case studies of migrants who approached the assisted voluntary return system, mediating the results obtained with the different territorial conditions, in order to obtain the best practices at European level.
